Sex life and the use/abuse of psychoactive substances interact significantly in the personality of the partners during the use and also after the detoxification process, if it is achieved.
When "LIBIDO" (libido – Λίβιδω: lust, desire) manifests dynamically within the mental life of the individual through the mediation of a substance and its corresponding dynamics, then a deficiency of "psychic libido" is caused. This deficiency will cause the creation or maintenance of sexual arousal at the physical level without the mental processing of emotions. Sexual intercourse through substances becomes a meeting of bodies and not souls.
In other words, when the experience of substance use is associated with sexual desire, arousal, and fulfillment, this tension cannot be psychically transmuted.
Life and love is a sensation and not an "artificial" illusion, it is a meeting of the truth of the persons participating in the love act and not a lie. Sex is a pleasurable outlet and a biological need, when it is not a "false outlet". The euphoria of sex is a pleasant feeling of well-being and comfort when the people who meet are aware and not under the influence of any illegal or legal substance.
"Sexual intercourse" is superficial and brief. The "love encounter" lasts in time, in the souls and lives of people.
It is a matter of choice for each of us how we will live and fall in love.
