Eleanna Cheilari

A tall, dark figure, simple in manners and dress, with movements that betray the vitality that floods her, a vitality that, unlike most, makes her methodical, persistent and strict in what she tries. He trained at the University of Patras from 1984 to 1988 as a teacher. Then, from 1988 to 1990, she pursued postgraduate studies at the University of London on Substance Dependence in Adolescence and the predisposing factors in their initial involvement and subsequent systematic use, which had been her dream since her teenage years (Dip. Ed ., M.A. Psychology).
Eleanna Cheilari has a huge quality, which is accompanied by its consequent flaw: She does not trust her own thoughts, but she also does not rest on the thoughts of others. In today's age, when everyone has an opinion about everything, this is a great resource, it is a "warranty" for "searching".
And this is what motivated Eleanna Cheilari to continue her work for 30 years in the field of drugs at the level of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Prevention of Psychoactive Substances. Following "little Eleanna" and the "Child within her", she worked in this difficult area with enthusiasm and love. She persistently and constantly pulls up her "sleeve" in her serious face, serving patients and herself as best as possible.
The significant losses she experienced in her life led her to be systematically involved in psychotherapy trainings of many systems, but also in writing articles and general editing of a book, as well as participating in Working Groups of Prevention Programs of the European Union. She is also a certified addiction therapist following relevant training at the Aeginite Hospital. She worked as a Therapist in Drug Addiction Treatment Programs at G.N. Asclepion of Voula as well as in "Street Work" Programs in drug "markets" in Greece.
Member of the BPS since 1990 and has been trained in Group Analysis at the Society for Group Analysis and Family Therapy (M. Yosaphat) (1996-1998) as well as in Interracial Relations in a Ministry of Education program coordinated by Dr. Ath. Askitis (2003- 2004).
Eleanna currently maintains an Individual Business of Psychologist Services in Athens.
Separated from two childless marriages, she continues to live her life with passion, faith and enthusiasm.
