It follows the geographical data of the islands of the Ionian Sea, and thanks to Homer, we are successfully oriented towards the wonderful location chosen by the Cephalians to establish the capital of the kingdom of Ithaca. Unraveling the tangle of theories about Odysseus's Ithaca, the city, the royal tomb and the palace, in the valley of Heraklia, Kefalonia, are revealed. In the end, after approaching the subject based on the personal motivations of the poet of the epics and his particular perceptions of the world, we arrive at a clear and decisive answer to the question of his identity.
