Educational Leadership and Innovative initiatives in Secondary Education (in Greek)

The content of the book is divided into three parts:
The first part refers to Educational Leadership. The Director - leader is the one who guides and directs the actions of his colleagues and ensures their voluntary and willing cooperation for the success of the goals.
The second part refers to school activities and innovations in Secondary Education schools. The educational programs and innovative activities contribute to the improvement of the educational work, to the improvement of the climate and relations in the school, but also to the opening of the school to society. The evaluation of the school is necessary for the improvement of the educational work.
The third part refers to the research. Its methods, techniques and tools are analyzed. The schools, principals and teachers participating in the survey are described.
Then, the conclusions related to the research are drawn:
A school in order to have quality and be effective must have a vision, be motivated, the Principal must cultivate a smooth school climate and there must be participative leadership.
Finally, there are my suggestions, which refer to the training of Directors and teachers in innovative activities. I suggest that for the school to be effective the Principals should be chosen objectively and the school should be a cell of learning, improvement and progress.
