Two young people meet, fall in love, start talking, agreeing, disagreeing. At the centre, the historical development of Greece in contrast and comparison with other countries, which have followed a different development path. Through fictional narrative, but also through historically and scientifically informed political-philosophical dialogues, the causes and reasons that led to this differentiation are analysed. Thus, this book stands on the mistakes, solutions and the opportunities that lie ahead of us, analyzing the historical origins, the causes, the "why?" 

The story of the two young people is initially shrouded in mystery and reveals in its unexpected ending some historical aspects of Medieval Hellenism not so well known to the public. The author refers here to the Byzantine Greeks" of that distant era, who contributed to the Renaissance of the West after the conquest of the country by the Ottomans. 

The modular narrative, the structure of the book in self-contained chapters, makes it easy for the reader to navigate the text seamlessly, despite its volume.
