Η ΑΚΑΚΙΑ διαθέτει τα ηλεκτρονικά της βιβλία σε μορφή e-pub για eBook readers όπως το Amazon Kindle και σε e-pdf για Ηλεκτρονικούς Υπολογιστές και Pads όπως το iPad ή το Android καλύπτοντας τα  περισσότερα ebook readers όπως το Sony Reader το Kobo, το Binatone, το BeBook, το Nook και το Displex.

Η ανάγνωση των ηλεκτρονικών βιβλίων της ΑΚΑΚΙΑΣ μπορεί να γίνει σε οποιονδήποτε ηλεκτρονικό υπολογιστή, είτε αυτός είναι desktop, notebook ή netbook, αρκεί να διαθέτει τις κατάλληλες εφαρμογές.

Τα ηλεκτρονικά αρχεία που εκδίδει η ΑΚΑΚΙΑ είναι ελεγμένα στα δημοφιλέστερα eBook readers του κόσμου. Η ΑΚΑΚΙΑ προτείνει ανεπιφύλακτα το Amazon Kindle, ίσως το δημοφιλέστερο ebook reader, το οποίο δεν έχει κανένα πρόβλημα με την ανάγνωση των ελληνικών χαρακτήρων. Παρόλα αυτά, τα περισσότερα eBook readers, υποστηρίζουν τα .epub αρχεία, στα οποία η ΑΚΑΚΙΑ έχει φροντίσει να ενσωματώσει τις Ελληνικές γραμματοσειρές. Το Amazon, έχει δημιουργήσει μία δωρεάν εφαρμογή για τα iPhones, τα Smart Phones με Android Λειτουργικό Σύστημα, καθώς και τα iPads ή τα Pads με Android Λειτουργικό Σύστημα, όπου μπορεί κανείς να βρεί στις ιστοσελίδες του Amazon (www.amazon.co.uk/gp/kindle/pc), της Apple, ή στο Android Market αντίστοιχα, το Amazon Kindle, όπου εγκαθιστώντας την κάποιος στο Smart Phone του ή στο Pad του, μπορεί να αγοράζει και να διαβάζει ηλεκτρονικά βιβλία από το Amazon.

Η ΑΚΑΚΙΑ δεν εμπορεύεται μέσα από την ιστοσελίδα της ηλεκτρονικά βιβλία με κλείδωμα DRM, λόγω του ότι δεν υποστηρίζει σε καμία περίπτωση την πολυπλοκότητα, την αναγκαστική εγκατάσταση ή αγορά προγραμμάτων στον υπολογιστή του χρήστη και γενικότερα, τις περαιτέρω δυσκολίες με αποτέλεσμα τη δυσαρέσκεια του χρήστη.

There are optional services, which you may choose and will be charged accordingly, as detailed in the order sheet and invoice.

If you wish to send your own cover, it must be made to the specifications described above, by a graphic designer in a 300 DPI Photoshop (PSD) file. It should be greater than desired by 0.32cm on each side (right on front, left on rear, and up and down on front, rear and back), e.g. 14.32cm x 21.64cm if this is a book to be issued at 14cm x 21cm. The front and rear leaves (letters, titles) should also be aligned on the printable part (eg 14cm x 21cm). The backbone will be created by you after the page is done and we will send you the exact number of pages, since its width will be the number of pages per 0.00572008cm. Also on the back cover you should leave a blank 5.93cm (height) x 4.06cm (width) to which the book barcode will be added. Each element (letters, images) must be in a different layer. Finally, you should have the copyrights for each image you can use and send us the font you have used. Any file that does not meet these specifications will not be accepted and will be charged for the cover art.

If you have a general idea of what your cover might have, but no technical support (graphic designer, etc.), please describe it to us and we will suggest a cover. You can also send us your own sketch, graphic or photo for usage. This process is included in the price we offer for cover art.

Αν το βιβλίο που πρόκειται να εκδοθεί περιέχει περισσότερους από 500.000 χαρακτήρες (μαζί με τα κενά) ή / εικόνες, φωτογραφίες, πίνακες ή διαγράμματα σε σύνολο, θα έχει κάποιες επιπλέον χρεώσεις για την σελιδοποίηση σε σχέση με το απλό λογοτεχνικό κείμενο ( ανά €1.25 τελική σελίδα βιβλίου).

Στην αίτηση ενδιαφέροντος θα υπάρχουν σχετικά πεδία προς συμπλήρωση.

Οι τιμές σελιδοποίησης προσαυξάνονται από €0,75 – €2.35 ανά τελική σελίδα βιβλίου, όταν έχουμε να εισάγουμε υποσημειώσεις, φωτογραφίες, πίνακες κ.λπ.

Η αύξηση αποτελεί σημείο συζήτησης στην κοστολόγηση, όταν έχουμε δείγμα της εργασίας σας ή έχει διευκρινιστεί το είδος της ειδικής σελιδοποίησης που μπορεί να χρειαστεί.

The author will select the selling price of each e-book when completing the Printing Request, but AKAKIA sets a minimum selling price of £3 GBP for each e-book.

The selling price of the printed books will be determined by the author in consultation with AKAKIA, since the selling price depends on their production and distribution costs.

That is, the percentage retained by the respective service (PAYPAL, Bank Account etc) and the individual seller (Amazon, publishdrive) that manages the sale and production electronically, as well as the withdrawal rate from AKAKIA's PAYPAL Account if the author does not have a PAYPAL Account, but only a personal bank account.

Οι επιλογές και χρεώσεις αποστολής των προϊόντων υπολογίζονται αυτόματα από το σύστημά μας, σύμφωνα με τη διεύθυνση αποστολής και εμφανίζονται πάντοτε πριν την επιβεβαίωση/ολοκλήρωση της παραγγελίας.

Για την παραλαβή των προϊόντων, απαιτείται υπογραφή του δελτίου αποστολής. Παρακαλούμε δηλώστε μια διεύθυνση αποστολής, όπου θα υπάρχει κάποιο πρόσωπο να υπογράψει επιβεβαιώνοντας την παραλαβή τους.

DEFECTIVE product

If the product delivered to you is defective, you can return it to us within seven (7) days, indicating the defect so that it can be replaced with a new one. Return costs from your place in this case are borne by AKAKIA publications.

If we send you the wrong product, we will immediately correct the error and send you the right product, of course, taking care of any shipping costs of the old and new product.
