ΤΑ ΚΟΡΑΚΙΑ ΤΟΥ ΠΟΡΤΟ ΡΑΦΤΗ ΚΑΙ ΑΛΛΑ ΔΙΗΓΗΜΑΤΑ

Porto Rafti, a picturesque seaside region in Attica, where I happen to own a small country house for the summer breaks. Hence, the seven short stories of this volume refer either to my direct or indirect personal experiences during my thirty or so years of summer holidays there. Stories, all with a real background, which has been enriched, thanks to my imagination and literary disposition so as to become accessible and hopefully likeable to all those who read them. More particularly, the original stimulation which has given rise to the title itself and the subsequent contents of the stories, were the efforts of three very beautiful ladies to proselytise me in their religious beliefs. In any case, similar efforts are attempted by all those who have self-centred interests or old-fashioned beliefs and are looking for naïve people to drag into their traps and so increase the number of their followers.
