Stylianos Lytinas

Stelios Lytinas was born in Athens. As a child he was good at construction – let's say he made the best wooden sword of his friends and classmates.
Because he did not do well with letters, he found himself in a technical school, which he did not finish. And then he found himself in a silver-gold workshop. He learned the art by stealing with the eye, since at that time the old masters did not show much to the younger ones. In this way he succeeded and evolved. He immigrated to America, where he was lucky enough to enter the biggest workshops there and become one of the most famous jewelry makers, with his creations now in museums.
At some point he was inspired to write something and thus the book you are holding in your hands was created, which has a lot of autobiographical elements with experiences of buying and selling diamonds from traveling and more. His life had many great successes and failures.
He is still involved in jewelry making, but also cooking, more as a hobby.
He lives and works in Athens.
