Ναταλία Γκορντιένκο

I was born in Ukraine into a family of doctors, with a Ukrainian mother and a Greek father. I lost my father to cancer when I was an infant, and a few years later I found myself in a new, large family with difficult living conditions. Amidst the difficulties, my great love for reading and the Orthodox faith became my pillars of support. I completed my studies with a degree in Greek and English Philology at the University of Mariupol in Ukraine and continued for my master's degree in Greece, my father's homeland. I got married there and had two children, but my marriage ended in a painful separation. With strength, I made the decision to immigrate to Germany and start from scratch. Despite the difficulties, I stood tall and managed to achieve personal and professional goals.
