My name is Leon Melancholicos, and I have been fascinated with writing and poetry since the early years of elementary school. I grew up in a home where creativity was omnipresent, and growing up I was attracted to all types of creative expression and transference of experience and of the inner world. I am studying Mathematics and Psychology, two fields that have been crucial to the inspiration of this book. However, the people I met, who either left or stayed in my life, are the basic inspirations of this book, with my beloved Maribella being the most critical presence of them all, having shaped my soul, life, and imagination in ways I could have never anticipated. “A PEACEFUL PROMENADE” is my first attempt publishing a part of my writing work.
