KONSTANTINOS MANTZARIS

Konstantinos Mantzaris was born in 1980 and grew up in Agios Nikolaos Chalkidas. He is married and has two children. He comes from a farming family. In 2001 he graduated from the Department of Philology of the University of Crete. In 2003 he received a Master's Degree and in 2008 a Doctorate in Classical Philology under the supervision of the late Homerist Odysseus Tsagarakis. In 2010 he was appointed to Secondary Education and served in schools in Crete and Evia. Today he works at the Anaxagoreion High School in Nea Lampsakou, Evia. He holds a diploma in Byzantine Music and Principal Cantor of I. N. Isodion Theotokou of Phyllon Chalkidas.
