Irini was born in Tashkent (in present-day Uzbekistan to the then Soviet Union) to a Russian mother and a Greek father. The family returned to Greece in the 1990s and settled in Larissa. She studied Biology and Philology and worked for some years in Secondary Education as a Biology teacher, while speaking 3 languages.
She loves nature and from a very young age she took care of various animals, birds, insects, fish, reptiles, etc. In recent years she has been dealing more organically with the Orchids, for which she maintains a very large collection of rare plants from succulents, orchids, etc. Irini maintains a bilingual (Greek and Russian) YouTube channel, "Irini's Garden", from which the idea of this series of educational stories for children was created.
She is a member of the Panhellenic Association for the Protection of Abused Animals "Eleftheros", she enjoys reading and this series of stories for children is her first publishing effort.
