Eugenia Alexandropoulou was born in Elatovrisi, Nafpaktia in 1940.
After the occupation of her village by the communist guerrillas in 1947, she settled with her family in Messolongi. There she finished the Elementary School and the four classes of the then six-grade High School. She finished High School in Athens.
She passed his exams at the University and succeeded at the Law and Philosophy School of Athens.
She chose the School of Philosophy, after attending both Schools for a short time.
When she finished, she worked for a year in a well-known tutoring center. She taught for six years in Gymnasiums and Lyceums of the province. She returned to Athens teaching in various secondary schools.
She has two sons who live and work in London.
She started writing when she was a student and continues to this day. She has written over one thousand five hundred poems and fifty fairy tales, not necessarily with the prospect of publishing them, but mainly to leave them to her children and grandchildren as a memory of those she lived through.
Her first poetry collection was published in March 2021 by the publishing house "Syrtari", entitled "Once upon a time" and further publications follow. This is the first edition of Eugenia Alexandropoulou with children's stories.
