Athanasios Kon. Galanis was born in the middle of the civil war in Lamia in 1948, where he grew up and received his primary and secondary education. He studied Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Pedagogy at PATES of SELETE. He served his military service in the Air Force (in 251 GNA) during the dictatorship period. He worked in managerial positions of various banks and for a short time as an economics professor.
A lover of travel, sports and painting, he took up writing during the pandemic, writing the historical-biographical album 1948-2022 "Stachiologimata".
