The Drawing, as a representation of one or more objects with pencil lines, is today an important clinical tool in psychological assessment, as in this, but also in any drawing or painting, even when the sketcher wishes to capture only the perceptual reality, he/she is influenced by his/her biological, mental, cognitive and emotional development, by the idiosyncratic characteristics, the mnemonic traces of his/her experiences, and these are captured in the sketch.

In this book, through the sketches of the Man, Tree, House, Family, but also free sketches and paintings, an attempt is made to show how the sketch by itself, or with the history, the clinical impression and among other psychological and cognitive tests, can contribute to a comprehensive psychological assessment, even from the earliest infancy with the scribbles.

It includes many examples and is a useful manual for the use of the drawing, mainly in the clinical work of psychological assessment, but also more generally in its use in any evaluative or therapeutic and research context.
